Buying Domains
How do I buy a domain on Namearch?
Browse or search our collection of verified domains. When you find one you want, click "Buy Now" for fixed-price domains or "Make Offer" to negotiate. All payments are processed through Escrow.com for your protection.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments are processed through Escrow.com, which accepts credit/debit cards, wire transfers, and PayPal. Escrow.com holds your payment securely until the domain transfer is confirmed.
How long does a domain transfer take?
Most transfers complete within 24 hours for transfer-ready domains. Some registrars may take up to 5 business days. Domains marked "Transfer Ready" can typically be moved immediately.
What if the domain isn't transferred?
Your payment is protected by Escrow.com. If the seller fails to transfer the domain as described, you receive a full refund. Escrow.com guarantees this.
Can I negotiate the price?
Yes! Domains listed as "Make Offer" are open to negotiation. Submit your best offer and the seller will respond, typically within a few hours. AI-assisted valuations help you understand fair market value.
Selling Domains
How do I list a domain for sale?
Create a free account, add your domain, and verify ownership through a DNS TXT record. Set your price (fixed or make-offer), and your listing goes live immediately with its own sales landing page.
What are the seller fees?
Listing is free. We charge 6% on fixed-price sales and 8% on negotiated deals. For assisted transfers, there's an optional +3% fee (or $79 minimum). These are the lowest marketplace fees in the industry.
How does domain verification work?
We verify ownership through DNS TXT records. You'll add a unique code to your domain's DNS settings — it takes under 5 minutes. Once verified, your listing displays a "Verified" badge that builds buyer trust.
When do I get paid?
Once a sale is agreed, the buyer's payment is held by Escrow.com. You initiate the domain transfer, the buyer confirms receipt, and Escrow.com releases your payment minus the marketplace fee.
Can I list domains from any registrar?
Yes. You can list domains registered at any ICANN-accredited registrar. The DNS verification process works regardless of which registrar holds your domain.
